Don King will exhibit photographs at the Edge of Maine Frame & Gallery
on Main St in Brownfield from Tuesday May 19 through the end of June.
The opening reception for the artist is Sunday May 24th from 1-5.
Don King was an Art and Media major in college and he has maintained
his interested in the visual arts, especially photography, since a
very young age. Don at age 5 was the AV Tech for his sister's Brownie
troop, operating the slide projectors, tape recorders, record players
and 8mm film projectors and received his first camera (a Kodak
Brownie) at the age of 7. Don now says little did he know this would become his life’s calling.
Since 1989 he has been working in Media Services/Educational Technologies first with Smith College in Northampton Massachusetts for 14 years and is currently the Senior Audio/Visual Specialist with Bowdoin College in Brunswick Maine."
